3rd April 2026 Hiking - Walking: The Dip-Felixstowe Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 15/20 Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: cliudy and breezy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Friday 3rd April - walks *** – The Dip with Maeva for a picnic – cloudy and breezy. Friday being Maeva day I had time to nip down to The Dip and walk to the kite puddle to see the kitesurfers and it was bloom’n cold! Maeva arrives with her Dad and it was nice to catch up with Dan as we haven’t seen him for awhile! Mag did some Easter crafts and I asked Maeva what see wanted for todays picnic in the van and she said chips and dip, so I made a flask plus the sauce etc and we drove down to the pier to buy some chips before heading down to The Dip to park in our windsurfers car park to enjoy the chips and scraps, we spent ages in the van playing with the many toys Maeva had brought before she made us head out for a walk. She started on her bike but that did not last long and I ended up carryinnng it:) She loves the beach huts and the wind in her hair as some cool waves were rolling in! It was then home for a cuppa and watch Peppa Pig before taking her home, another top Maeva Friday:) Photo Album here |
